Summary: At 1912Z C182/G Reported a recreational UAV 7NM north of the McAllen Airport while traveling southbound VFR. The UAV was observed at 2,300ft off the right wing at the same altitude as the C182. UAV was described as tri engine white in color with black stripes. PIC indicated no evasive action was required to avoid contact. PILOT continued inbound to MFE and landed Runway 14 without incident. Hidalgo county sheriff was notified and no additional impact to operations noted.
