MD-82 was reportedly involved in a near-miss with a drone near Milan-Linate Airport on 16 December 2016. Separation distance reported as 250 feet.

On approach to Milan-Linate Airport at 4200 ft the crew reported observing a drone at 150-250 ft.

THE LOCATION WAS SAID TO BE SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER OR BETWEEN 4-5 MILES NORTH OF SDF. THE PROPER AUTHORITIES HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED VIA CHECKLIST.
